Punjab Introduces Online Registration for Plastic Producers

The importance of taking action against polythene bags with thicknesses of less than 75 microns was stressed by Marriyum Aurangzeb. Nine enterprises that manufacture plastic bags have been given notifications by the Department of Environmental Protection for infringement of environmental regulations. In order to ensure compliance with the prohibition on plastic bags, anti-plastic squads are conducting inspections at food outlets, marketplaces, and businesses. During the course of the crackdown, vendors are being instructed to make the transition to environmentally friendly options.
